Blue Planet III Live in Concert
Experience the extraordinary. Live.
Next summer, Blue Planet III Live in Concert brings the landmark BBC series to a giant Ultra HD screen accompanied by a live philharmonic orchestra.
Hosted by Executive Producer Elizabeth White, this unforgettable event combines breathtaking footage from the series with fascinating behind-the-scenes insights and stories of how the team captured these incredible underwater encounters.
A brand-new score by Hans Zimmer, Thom Lukas and Laurentia Editha, for Bleeding Fingers Music, will be performed live by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, taking audiences on a spectacular journey through vibrant coral reefs, extraordinary marine life and to the deepest reaches of the ocean.
Elizabeth White says: “Making Blue Planet III has taken us to places we never imagined we'd film. But there's something about bringing that footage into a concert arena full of people, with the score performed live all around you, that will be truly special. This tour is our chance to share the series on a completely different scale, and I can't wait to be there live, revealing the extraordinary stories behind what audiences are seeing on screen.”
Hans Zimmer says: “There’s nothing like experiencing this score live with an orchestra, especially when it’s paired with the extraordinary visuals of the life underwater. Thom, Laurentia and I are ecstatic that audiences will be able to enjoy our score in this way.”
The tour will begin at Manchester's AO Arena on 21 May, followed by Birmingham's bp pulse LIVE on 22 May and Glasgow's OVO Hydro on 23 May. The London date will be announced soon, and fans can sign up to the waitlist here to be the first to hear.
