This spring, history and technology collide as Cleopatra: The Experience makes its UK debut at Immerse LDN, Excel Waterfront. Opening on 26 March 2026 for a limited 15‑week run, the exhibition invites visitors on a breath taking journey through the life, love and legacy of the formidable queen.
Spread across 3,000 square metres, the 90 minute+ experience blends historical storytelling with cutting‑edge innovation - from a dazzling holographic recreation of the Ptolemaic Dynasty to a 360‑degree projection room and a free‑roaming VR Metaverse that lets guests explore Cleopatra’s world as it once was.
More than 22 genuine Egyptian artefacts, including bronze statues of Isis and Osiris, terracotta sculptures and rare papyri, will be on display in collaboration with the Felix Cervera Archaeology Gallery. The journey culminates in a spectacular video‑mapped recreation of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Endorsed by British Egyptologist Dr Chris Naunton, the exhibition brings Cleopatra’s story vividly to life. “Cleopatra was strong, skilful, intelligent, a great pharaoh of Egypt, and a great survivor. Very few women in the ancient world could claim similar achievements, and it is entirely right therefore that her story should be remembered.
This exhibition does a superb job of presenting the archaeological and historical evidence in a way that transports the visitor to the Egypt of Cleopatra’s time. It tells the story of her life and legacy in such a way that you feel as though you are living it with her.”
After attracting over 200,000 visitors in Madrid and receiving rave reviews, Cleopatra: The Experience is set to be one of London’s standout cultural events of 2026.
